I Want Your Sex (2026) – Directed by Gregg Araki
Original Artwork, Art Consulting, On-Screen Appearances
For Gregg Araki's feature film I Want Your Sex (2026), Blake Jacobsen and Meghan Sabik contributed more than twenty original photographic works, two video works, and art consulting to help bring the fictional artistic practice of Erika Tracy, played by Olivia Wilde, to life.
Working closely with the film's art department, the duo drew on their thirteen-year collaborative practice and knowledge of contemporary art to develop and adapt works for Erika's fictional oeuvre. Their involvement included original photography and video production, visual and art-historical research, artwork fabrication, and consultation on the selection and installation of works across multiple sets. Appearing both as subjects within their own artworks and as background actors in the film, Jacobsen and Sabik occupy an unusual position as the real artists, fictional muses, and occasional inhabitants of Erika Tracy's world.
